Sandy LaValle is from Syracuse, NY and has been a resident of the Capital District since 1984. Educated at Syracuse University in Design, she established her own Interior Design firm and was the sole proprietor from 1984 until 2004. She traveled all over the US to accommodate her established client base, doing residential as well as commercial interior design. Locales included Chicago, Florida, Kiawah, SC, New Hampshire and Providence, RI, just to name a few!
In 2004, Sandy joined RealtyUSA as a licensed salesperson and went on to get her broker’s license five years later. She is experienced in selling and purchasing homes with a variety of clients—everything from first-time home buyers to finalizing estates for families. What makes Sandy unique is that she has parlayed her design background into a full-fledged, head-on asset for all of her clients. To Sandy, a room is not just a room, but a personal statement of who her clients are. For her buyers, specific details like placing furniture, how to treat a window, what should go on the floors—all of this helps her clients to create a home, not just a house. And she brings an incredible asset to sellers with her expertise in staging, able to recommend simple adjustments that ensure the property is shown to potential buyers in the best possible way.
Sandy has received myriad recognitions for excellence: she is a member of the President’s Council at RealtyUSA, NARS, GCAR, Mark Leader Graduate, Top Branch Producer and Top Branch Producer for 1st Priority Mortgage. She is also very active in her community. She has been a Trustee of the Bethlehem Community Fund for the last 7 years, organized a food drive for the Bethlehem Food Pantry, past board member of the Board of Trustees at St. Catherine’s Center for Children, and has sponsored a Town of Bethlehem girls’ softball team for the past 3 years. She not only cheers them on every game, but the girls receive her homemade chocolate chip cookies as a treat after each of those games.
Sandy resides in Delmar, NY, with her husband Vince, where she raised her 2 children who are now married with families of their own and live outside the Capital District.
